Couple Almost Gets Struck By Lightning While Taking A Selfie

One electrifying photo-op.

Sometimes Mother Nature wants to get in on your selfie, something one couple learned in the most horrifyingly hilarious way.

Luis Morales Fukutake was just chilling on the beach during a storm with his girlfriend, and when the pair got ready to take a classic couples-selfie, the photo-op got more than a little interrupted by a lightning strike directly behind them.

As far as we know, this is the first time lightning has ever¬†photo-bombed a picture, selfie or otherwise. Here’s hoping lightning is as vain as the rest of us, and a bolt strikes the next time I’m outdoors flexing for a hot summer selfie, because an electrifying FB profile pic would get, like, 100 likes easy.
