10 Netflix Features You Wish Existed

Yes, I'm still watching... Stop asking!
10 Netflix Features You Wish Existed

Netflix is one of the world's biggest streaming platforms and they've come a long way over the years. But that doesn't mean they don't have room for improvement.

There are a lot of features Netflix should have to make their service even better.

Here are some Netflix features you wish existed:

1. Option to remove the "Are You Still Watching?" message

One of the most hated features on Netflix is the dreaded pop-up message that interrupts your episode to ask " Are you you still watching?" People hate this message so much they even created a Chrome extension to stop the message from popping up.

2. Option to shorten or remove the timer that counts down the start of the next episode

When one episode ends on Netflix, a timer usually starts to signal the beginning of the next episode. Except sometimes the timer is 45 seconds long! If only there was a way to remove the timer or at the very least, shorten the countdown.

3. Option to skip all credit scenes

If I hear the Friends theme song "I'll be there for you" one more time, I'm going to lose it! I know you can skip them one by one if you click "skip intro", but I wish there was a way to permanently skip all intros forever.

4. Option to browse all movies and shows in alphabetical order

This is easily the most in-demand feature Netflix DOESN'T"T have. How amazing would it be to be able to see Netflix entire library in alphabetical order! Plus you'd be able to see how many movies and shows Netflix actually has in their library.

5. Leaving Soon Category

Shows and movies are removed from netflix every month, so they really need to add a "Leaving Soon Category" to give you one last chance to watch them before they're gone forever.

6. Option to "Never Show This Again"

Netflix love recommending the same movie over and over, so the same damn movie shows up in "Critically Acclaimed Movies" , "Action/Adventure", "Blockbuster Movies" and even "Because you watched..." There needs to be an option to never see movie suggestion ever again to make room for this you actually want.

7. Connecting with friends

That way you can see what they are watching, recommend movies and even live chat if you want to watch a show together.

8. Blacklist Mode

We all have that one actor we simply can't stand. How awesome would it be to be able to blacklist them from your Netflix. you'll never have to watch a show, movie or cameo featuring that actor ever again!

9. TV Mode

Netflix is great but i miss the old way of watching TV sometimes. you would watch 1 or 2 random episodes of one show and then another show would come on. You should have the option of planning your own prime time TV schedule.

10. Shuffle

Remember coming home from school and turning on the TV? You knew what show as going to be playing but you had no idea which episode it was going to be. Netflix should give us the option to select a random episodes of a show.
