If you live in Canada, I hope for your sake you're staying indoors today, because chances are you're currently standing in one of the coldest places in the world.
This morning we checked the weather stats and noticed that 10 out of the 10 coldest places on earth are in Canada!
As of 8:30 am, Spence Bay, Nunavut is the coldest place on earth at -41°C!
And every single other spot is occupied by a Canadian city.

Eureka, Nunavut: -40°C
Key Lake, Saskatchewan: -40°C
Stony Rapids, Saskatchewan: -37°C
Chesterfield inlet, Nunavut: -37°C
Cambridge Bay, Nunavut: -37°C
Rankin Inlet, Nunavut: -37°C
Uranium City, Saskatchewan: -36°C
Southend, Saskatchewan: -36°C
La Ronge, Saskatchewan: 36°C
Although the list is mostly populated by places in Nunavut and Saskatchawan, the rest of the country isn't doing any better.
According to Environment Canada: Many parts of Alberta, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Ontario and Quebec are all under an extreme cold warning!
So just in case you were wondering, yes it's totally acceptable to complain about the cold today.
