10 Pros And Cons Of Dating A Younger Guy In Montreal
Ah, young guys! They're so adorable.I keep getting hit on by 19 year old dudes, so it made me think - why not make a post out of it? I'm actually considering to give it a try, YOLO. Madonna, Demi Moore, Mariah Carey and lots of other bombshell celebs are doing it, soooo yeah. Age is just a number anyway. Let's see what kind of pros and cons there are in dating a younger guy. 1. PRO: He's a lot of fun
Young guys want to live life, go out, get drunk and do things that would make good stories after. He wants to go out to bars and clubs all day every day because he's finally reached legal drinking age. You'll probably meet him on St-Laurent after 3am on like a Tuesday or something. It could totally be fun.
CON: He can be immature
He still probably smokes a lot of weed and uses words like "yo", "dope" and "bae".
2. PRO: He's enthusiastic about the future
Young guys are full of life. They passionately start different projects every week and firmly believe they will be millionaires by the time they reach 30. Like, this guy I knew wanted to start a Montreal dating app, then he switched to a Montreal shopping app, then a restaurant app... You get the drill.
CON: He's not financially stable yet
That awkward moment when your friends who date lawyers and doctors ask you, "So what does your boyfriend do for a living again?" and you just switch the subject because he's not doing anything yet.
3. PRO: He has a lot of energy
Yeah, the obvious. Young guys go hand in hand with stamina. They can go at it for hours, if you know what I mean. For once, someone can keep up with your sexual appetite. Score!
CON: He's inexperienced
Younger guys do have higher stamina, but they don't necessarily have that many tricks up their sleeves. Older men are obviously more experienced in this department, unless you're dealing with a young Casanova.
4. PRO: He's cute because he still acts like a child
Young guys want to do silly and goofy things with you! It can be really adorable. Like running around the house in your underwear and pillow fighting. So cuuuute! Older guys tend to lose that adorable child in them and act very serious most of the time.
CON: He doesn't know how to do adult things properly
Childish is the opposite of practical. Young guys don't know how to budget properly... Chances are, you won't be able to go out for nice dinners very often. Luckily, Montreal has a bunch of restaurants where you can eat for under $10.
5. PRO: He has a high metabolism
Young guys will want to eat pizza and poutine after a night out and you will love them for it. Oh and no matter how much they eat, they gain zero weight.
CON: We don't have a high metabolism
You'll end up eating weird things at even weirder hours with your young guy. However, your body is not as immune to fat as his is. Sadness.
6. PRO: His friends will love you
Young guys hang out with other young guys who will love you just as much as he does. They will all secretly want to hook up with you too, because you're that hot older chick.
CON: Your friends will not like him that much
Your girlfriends will most probably disapprove of your young guy. They'll want you to get your shit together and start dating someone who you could potentially marry instead.
7. PRO: He's exciting
Young guys are always open to new things. He's down to try anything new pretty much. Like that Montreal's 1,000-foot Slip N' Slide, for example. Older guys are more into chill activities.
CON: He's not serious
As exciting as young guys could be, they're not very serious. As a consequence, they can't really be viewed as marriage material. Your relationship has extremely low chances of growing into anything more than just a casual hookup arrangement.

See #5. Young guys don't even need to exercise to stay fit. He will most probably have a six pack and you will love it.
CON: You'll probably get jealous
You won't be the only girl drooling over his six pack. Chicks his age will probably be after him too. You'll feel like you can't compete with young girls because you will never win at one thing for sure - they're younger.
9. PRO: He has an interesting and unusual lifestyle
He doesn't have a boring 9 to 5 job. He's a free spirit and can do what he wants when he wants it. You will have a whole lot of adventures with a young guy.
CON: You have different interests
Sometimes you'll just want to Netflix and chilland he will want to drag you to a weird show of a band you never even heard of.
10. PRO: He's creative
Because young guys are usually broke, they get very creative in their ways of charming you. They will invite you to a picnic on Mont Royal, for example, instead of taking you out for dinner. And honestly, it's so much more romantic and fun.
CON: He can be embarrassing
Yes, he's young and creative, but he might not be particularly knowledgeable in certain areas of life. He can totally say something super dumb in front of your friends or, even worse, your family and embarass the shit out of you.
