Friends, having lived in Montreal my whole life, I know one thing to be true: there is nothing on this earth like visiting a legit casse-croute.

One where the poutines are served piping hot; the steamies are fresh and crisp with coleslaw; and everything is just appropriately sticky. Montreal has a whole bunch of awesome spots like this, but a select few stand out from the bunch.

This Montreal institution needs no description, TBH. It's been around for 100 years, and for just as long, it's been serving up delicious, traditional poutines, steamies, and more, all for super cheap.

Based on hotel searches, Expedia released a list of the top 10 domestic destinations where Canadians are showing interest in travelling this summer — and two cities in Quebec made the cut. 

Quebec City and Mont-Tremblant ranked ninth and tenth on the list of Canadian travel destinations below cities in Alberta, B.C. and Ontario.
