11 Great Places In Montreal You Can Take A Date If They Love Tapas

What could be more intimate than sharing a romantic meal for two, and what better way to do that than eating Tapas?

Tapas originates from Spain and is the combination of small dishes, however it has now been adopted and embraced by different types of cuisine from all over the world.

This way of eating is great for making conversation and being able to share and taste several dishes. Great if you are always dying to taste your partner's plate or if you always regret your choice.

With Montreal's wide range of restaurants, I have compiled a list of where you should take your date if they have a soft spot for tapas or if you're looking for food that is guaranteed to bring you closer together and give you something to talk about.

330 Av. du Mont-Royal East

The name of this restaurant actually originates from a specific type of cuisine from the Basque culture. A Pintxo is originally a small slice of bread on which was placed a small portion of food. The origin of its name comes from the fact that the food was held on to the bread by a toothpick (a Pintxo in Euskara). Therefore a perfect and unique form of Tapas. Enjoy their charcuterie, octopus and Spanish cheeses in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
