The only problem with this little ritual is that that bills can start to add up, especially when a lot of places are charging outrageous prices. While I'm all for spending a little extra cash on being pampered, having to lose an arm and a leg every time you do so is not okay, so we've compiled a list of 11 places in Montreal where you can go to keep your hands, and your wallet, happy.

This place doesn't look like much from the outside but as soon as you step inside it's super nice, extremely clean, and has manicures for just $15. For an extra $5 you can make it a shellac mani, which should last you a couple weeks, so it's totally worth it.
2. Anna Nails

Anna Nails is located inside the Fresh Coiffure salon, so don't get confused by the exterior. Anna will give you a shellac mani for just $25 (cash only), and students get a bonus 15% off. She puts on 3 coats of coloured polish, as opposed to the usual 2, so you know it's going to last a long time.
3. Clin d’Oeil

Sat in the heart of Griffintown, Clin d'oeil has extremely reasonable prices for a full service salon. You can get a polish change for just $10, a regular manicure $20, and a french or shellac manicure for $25.
4. Spa Dahlia

At Spa Dahlia a manicure is just $22, and includes a hand exfoliation and moisturizing massage. Anyone that's ever had a hand massage before knows that it's the most relaxing thing ever. They even have TV screens so you can zone out, watch a movie, and enjoy having your hands pampered.

The regular manicure at this nail bar is extremely reasonable, going for just $19.99. If you want to get a shellac mani, it's a bit more expensive and will cost you $34.99. They do, however, have a deal on right now where you can buy a bundle of 3 shellac manicures for just $44.99.

Epilation Plateau offers their manicures for just $15. For those that like their nails to have an extra something special, you can add a design to them for just $5 more. This salon is by appointment only so make sure you call ahead.

While this mani is the most expensive on the list, coming in at $25 for their Classic Manicure, it's totally worth the extra bucks. For that price you get nail shaping, a vitamin soak, cuticle refining, a therapeutic massage and colour application. It's definitely worth a visit the next time you're downtown.

For the people that don't have the time in their day to sit down for a full manicure experience, Runway has a 30 minute On-The-Go manicure for just $15. For the individuals who aren't in such a rush, Runway also offers an Indulgence manicure for $25, which lasts 45 minutes and includes cuticle care, lotion, and a massage.

If you just want a quick polish change, they can do that for you for $15, but if you want the whole shebang, you can get their Timeless Manicure, which will cost you just $23.
