Anything that’s described as a lounge/restaurant is a winner in my book, but TBH, Suite 701 basically takes the cake. Other than running on all pistons of awesome during the week, this incredible Old Montreal spot also offers a seriously impressive brunch on the weekends.
I could seriously talk about the food here forever - like their bacon tile cinnamon brioche, their bacon wrapped scallops, their smoked salmon eggs Benedict, or their caramelized apple vanilla yogurt dish. But this is about booze, friends, and with their “Option Grande Soif” - a 2 hour open bar add-on option - that’s exactly what you’re going to get. So grab your BFFs, prepare to nosh on an awesome meal, and let the good times roll.

Brunch lovers, welcome to paradise. Terrasses Bonsecours is pretty much well-known in the city already, and if you’ve ever been there, you know exactly why. The atmosphere is chill and trendy, the location is beyond beautiful, and the food is high-key amazing.
Oh, and the drinks here are on their own level of awesome. Protip: although you’ll be thrilled with any brunch time cocktail choice, get your hands on their sangria. True, SuWu is technically a bar, but it transforms into one of the best brunch place you’ve ever been to during weekend mornings. Seriously, their brunch options are original, fresh, and awesome - and they’ve got one incredibly delicious breakfast poutine to boot.
Of course, the mimosas here are something I could write symphonies about, TBH. There’s something to be said about a place when their mimosas are in a category of their own; and, trust, you haven’t had a mimosa until you’ve had one at SuWu. So grab your friends and get there, and prepare to be amazed.

Alright, this rooftop terrasse technically does lunch starting at 11:30 - but their menu is a good mix of awesome breakfast and lunch items, like their smoked salmon sandwich, their beef tartare, and their steak tacos, so I’m going to go ahead and say it still counts.
Because, at the end of the day, if you’re looking for somewhere to chill with your friends while on a rooftop overlooking Montreal at midday… well, Terrasse Placde D’Armes is one of your best options to do this. Plus, their extensive and delicious drink menu means that this outing will definitely turn into a friendship adventure. All the wins, friends. All the wins.
