I'm sure you've noticed that we've been writing a lot of articles about road trips and spontaneous trips that you can take from Montreal. You may be curious why, since we're a blog that writes about Montreal, are we telling you to get out of Montreal. 

It's not because we don't love this city, it's pretty clear we're a little bit obsessed with Montreal. We just want everyone reading our articles to know about all the amazing things they can experience around Montreal as well.

We're lucky enough to live less than 2 hours away from the border with the US, giving us so many amazing opportunities to explore the country right below us! It's pretty exciting that we can drive just a couple hours and be in a completely different country with so many amazing things to offer us. 

Vermont, New York State and Maine are beautiful states that are filled to the brim with nature from breathtaking state parks and stunning hiking trails, to flowing waterfalls and giant gorges! Get out there and explore this summer!

This breathtaking suspension bridge dates back to 1892! Despite the name, visitors shouldn't be afraid to cross it since it's been repaired several times over the years to ensure it's stability. Though it can be a bit wobbly at time given the weather, you'll get amazing views on sunny summer days!
