For all of us active individuals summertime means fun outdoor activities! That usually includes activities that give us a way to get outside and be active but also give us the best views of the nature around us.

But sometimes, we want to get that amazing view but by putting the least amount of physical effort possible into it. I can really relate to that this summer. I want to get out there and explore all the amazing hiking trails, lakes, and waterfalls but I'm also pretty lazy.

So, what could be better than finding super short and easy hiking trails for lazy people like me that also have the most spectacular views! It will feel like you hiking for five hours when you really hiking for one or two.

1. Mont Saint Bruno 

Distance From Montreal: 42 mins

Trail Length: there is 25 km worth of hiking trails in this national park, with short options from 1-3.5 km. Take Grand Duc Trail for an intermediate hike.

2. La Prucheraie Trail 

Distance From Montreal: one hour, three mins

Trail Length: this trail spans a short distance of 1.4 km and takes about 30 mins to complete.

Views: from the Observation Deck you can see wildlife, forests and open fields

3. Parc Regional Des Sept Chutes

Distance From Montreal: one hour, 27 mins

Trail Length: choose from multiple hiking trails ranging from two hours to five hours long. All trails range from beginner to intermediate level.

8. Moss Glen Falls Trail, Vermont
