They have absolutely stunning views of Old Montreal and you will have the most relaxing time ever with your BFF.

They have fabulous flavors and it is supper refreshing during the summer. This a a cute little cheap way for you and your BFF to Treat Yourselves.

But if you and your BFF are anything like me then I have a better idea that requires little effort. Personally, I would head down to Dinette Triple Crown. At Dinette Triple Crown, your food is packed up for you in a lovely basket that you and your BFF may take outside and share a picnic. They have the absolute best and freshest chicken and with one bite you know that this is Southern home food.

Montreal has a dozen amazing donut shops but I recommend le Trou De Beigne located in little Italy. They honestly have the coolest flavors and you and your BFF can easily Finnish a box of 12! They even have vegan donuts!

2021 Was Montreal's Hottest Year On Record

Here's what's in store for the first few months of 2022.

It's official — 2021 was the hottest year on record for Montreal, according to Environment Canada. It beat out the previous hottest years, 1998 and 2012, by a mean few hundredths of a degree.

This rise in temperature in Montreal is attributed to new weather patterns, causing scorching temperatures in June, August, September and October. "August and October were record-breaking months," said Environment Canada spokesperson Simon Legault.

Of all the things you'd expect to find as you walk along Boulevard Saint-Laurent, a 7-foot-tall, gin-inspired hedge maze probably isn't one of them. But from August 6 to 8, Bombay Sapphire is building a labyrinth full of surprises in the Old Port — and, yes, that does include free gin samples for Quebecers aged 18 and up.

A Bombay spokesperson described the maze as a "large-scale [...] whimsical oasis" with walls that "cloak the discoverable experiences within."

The Ciel en Fête hot air balloon festival in Quebec is floating its way through Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu next month, accompanied by a host of activities, including yoga, a Société des alcools du Québec (SAQ) picnic and an illuminated night show.

In the event of good weather, the hot air balloon festival will take place every weekend during the month of August.
