The film industry is booming in Canada. When I say booming, though, I mean that American productions are coming up north to take advantage of our beautiful landscapes, and most importantly - cityscapes to shoot their films and TV series.
As you can guess, it's very easy to make St-Laurent Street looks like NYC, for example. Or the cobblestone streets of the Old Port can easily double as the streets of Paris.

That said, although it may not be obvious at first glance many Hollywood blockbusters are filmed in Canada. For example, the trending Riverdale is shot right outside of Vancouver B.C. Bet you didn't know that!
