Not only is drinking and getting high a New Year's Eve tradition for most Montrealers, but it leaves some with zero memory of the beginning of 2017. Watching all the drunk fools out on New Year sure is funny, but those who like to remain sober want to enjoy the new year as well. So, I have composed a list of insane and unusual things you should do to celebrate 2017 this year while remaining sober.

You can be completely sober on New Year’s Eve and still have a blast because Montreal is that amazing! In this list, you can expect to find activities for everyone. So, get your sober friends and make 2017 great without forgetting what you did the night before! And hey, just remember that people who drink their minds out might just be doing it because that's the only way they can have fun. Mont-Tremblant is the absolute best place to go skiing on New Year's Eve! Slip and slide down your favourite mountains as the clock strikes 12 and it’s officially 2017! There’s no better way to start a new year than being literally on top of the world. You obviously know that it’s beautiful in the summer but it’s actually drop dead gorgeous in the winter!

Afterwards, you can check out on of their fabulous restaurants or walk around and laugh at everyone who is drunk!
