I don't know about you guys, but for me, I usually get this need to get out of the city around this time of year.

I know it might sound weird to want to get out of Montreal just as the summer is finally hitting - and just as the super fun vibes, events, festivals, and activities start cropping up - but it's not so much a need to get out of this gorgeous city.
It's more a need to get out into the world and explore and discover what it's got to offer. I think it's a super relatable kind of feel, no matter what you do or where you are. Although wherever you are might be an awesome place, a change of scenery is often super needed/wanted.
Except that - big surprise - travelling costs all kinds of money, usually. It can be difficult to decide where to stay, because not only are there travel and hotel costs, but there are also costs for food, getting around, and activities.
While it might be unavoidable to have to pay for these things, it doesn't mean that you need to go on a totally expensive vacation to have a good time. You can still travel and see the world if you're on a budget, and there are some seriously gorgeous spots in the world that are super inexpensive to visit.
