1. Fabergé

25 Avenue Fairmount O

This cute and funky lounge located in the Mile End, has every thing a Montrealer is looking for in a restaurant. The cool “hipster” vibe fills up the room with fun deco and murals, along with the spunky staff and totally rad meals and drinks ­­– this is the best brunch spot to go to if you’re looking to get a feel of what the plateau is all about.


2.Vieux Velo

This small 80’s style brunch spot has that rustic feel and hipster vibe perfect for a spontaneous cute morning breakfast on the Plateau. You’re given a taste of 2016 and 1980 all at once with the cool “old bicycle” theme – just like your typical Plateau resident; you’ll probably want to make your way there on your vintage bike.


3. Restaurant L’Avenue

Known best because of its coverage on “You Gotta Eat Here”, not only will your taste buds not be disappointed, your eyes won’t be either. This cool 90’s retro “3D” restaurant has all your senses stimulated at once. This elegant restaurant takes you on a trip to Paris without the cost of a trip to a fancy Parisian café. Tante Régine makes sure you won’t leave there without being full and satisfied. It is definitely a must-go, and trip advisor also thinks so!


5. L’Gros Luxe

Welcome to NDG! This place is in the heart of Notre-Dame-de-Grâce on Décarie. You are immediately welcomed with the NDG vibe as you walk in to see a wall filled with framed photographs of the city. From pictures of STM buses, to the Villa-Maria metro station and the famous orange construction cone; you will notice pops of orange a little everywhere, as for the rest of the décor, it’s a warm “cement grey” — the comic relief, poking fun at our infamous never-ending construction in Montreal. Not to mention the dishes are delish!

This cute café has everything from a friendly staff to great food and drinks. It’s the perfect place to hangout and enjoy a nice light breakfast with a fabulously crafted coffee. Known for their epic toasts, you get to enjoy it in a wonderful little space beautifully decorated with a gorgeous mural, white marble counters and light brown wood furnishing and obviously – plants. It has every element of a cute café with a touch of funk. Not only will you love the ambiance of this place; it’s so cute you won’t leave without a great Instagram post.


8. Restaurant Santa Barbara

This cool brunch spot has a variety of yummy vegetarian dishes and is carnivore friendly! Oh, Carbs… Our favourite friend. La Bête à Pain, in the heart of Griffintown is here and ready to deliver. This adorable bakery has the best artisanal bread and many more delicious brunch dishes to choose from. You’re immediately drawn to the gorgeous flower pattern blue and white tiles lacing the main counter, as well as the cool combination of old wooden cabinets and doors covering the wall, really making the space pop! The cute modern yet edgy vintage feel of the bakery really sets the ambiance for a wonderful morning brunch.

This charming restaurant is the City’s first Jewish self-described “Nosh Bar” is unlike anything else in Montreal. The eastern European restaurant serves classic Jewish dishes for brunch, and it is to die for. You feel the traditional Jewish ambiance with a mix of a cool San Francisco diner vibe with the white tiles and green wall fixtures and palm tree wallpaper in the bathroom.
