Montreal has always been a popular filming location for Hollywood movies.

There were several big productions filming around the city over the summer, and there actually are re-shoots happening right now for the X-Men Dark Phoenix movie.

Montreal's Old Port is a very popular location that offers the possibility to film everything from post-apocalyptic looking scenery, to European tourist hotspots. There are airport terminals, loading docks, old ships, and even cobblestone street.
