The biggest beer festival in North America, Mondial de la bière is BACK! From June 8-12 at Palais des congrès, enjoy 5 full days of fun, festivities and of course, BEER!

This year's edition will feature over 530 beers, including 282 new beers never before seen at the festival.

That's a whole lot of beers, so to make your beer-tasting experience a little bit easier, we put together a short-list of 20 international beers we can't wait to try.

Beer from Belgium

Verhaeghe Duchesse De Bourgogne - 6.2% - Rich red dark fruits, wood, vanilla and a hint of spiciness, this refined ale also known as "The Burgundies of Belgium", is a traditional top fermented ale from the West-Flanders region of Belgium. Following careful maturation in oak casks, it's 100% natural and unpasteurized, with nice effervescence and great balance.

Beer from Norway

Nøgne Ø God Påske - 7.5% - Fudge, caramel, dark chocolate, toffee, with a hint of flowers and honey, God Påske is full-bodied with a dry finish, and drinks very much like a blonde on a warm summer day.

Beer from U.S.A

Two Roads Road Jam - 5% - Made with a mix of real black & red raspberries, Two Roads Road Jam is heavy on the berry aroma and accented with a kiss of lemongrass to balance the sweetness. The slightly bitter and tart finish keeps it nice and lively on the tongue.

Kuka Banana Nut Brown - 5.5% - Brewed with real banana essence, hazelnut and almond, Kuka Banana Nut Brown is truly unique. This smooth and tasty English-style taste almost exactly like nutty banana bread, but with a balanced flavour profile so it's not too sweet, with a pleasant, lasting finish.

Goose Island Sofie - 6.5% - Subtle, spicy white pepper, a hint of orange peel and a creamy vanilla finish, Sofie is a tart, dry, sparkling ale with a sharpness almost like Champagne. Vibrant citrus start and crisp peachy finish, with a bit of butterscotch thrown in there, Sofie is an intriguing choice for those fond of Belgian Saisons.

Bodebrown / Stone Cacau IPA - 6.1% - Nice chocolate sweetness with rich, earthy bitterness, Stone Cacau is an award-winning IPA that masterfully combines traditional English India Pale Ale with Brazilian cocoa touches, for an unusual IPA taste that's great for sipping.

3Cariocas Session IPA NEMA - 4.8% - Notes of tropical fruits such as passion fruit and mango, Session IPA NEMA is dedicated to the city of Rio de Janeiro, where the name comes from. Light bitterness, refreshing, and easy to drink, perfect for the beach!

Beer from Canada

Mill Street Tankhouse Ale - 5.2% - Sweet, fruity, and citrusy, with a grapefruit-y finish, the Tankhouse Ale recipe was developed 20 years ago, and features five different malts to produce a complex texture, full of hop. The result is a satisfying and full-flavoured beer that's easy enough to drink.

Beaus / Kissmeyer Nordic Pale Ale - 5.6% - Herby, floral notes, with an amazing balance of surprising ingredients including yarrow and sweet gale, Kissmeyer Nordic Pale Ale is definitely distinctive, and very refreshing.

Brasseurs du Monde La Réserve du Picoleur Blanche du Mur - 4% - Peachy, slightly sour and peppery with a Saison crispness, Blanche du Mur is delightfully thirst-quenching wheat beer. The lemony finish makes it easy to drink all day long.

Les Vergers de la Colline Honey Crisp Sour - 7% - Funky hazy pink colour, with notes of fresh apples and fruit. Yes it's a cider, but it doesn't change the fact that Honey Crisp Sour is super tasty and ultra drinkable.

Beer from Spain

La Quince Extra Horny - 6.9% - Tropical fruits like passionfruit, pine, citrus and resin, Extra Horny is super aromatic, fresh and refreshing. Starts sweet and fruity then gets really bitter, for a lager, it's surprisingly well-balanced and full of flavour.

Dougall’s 942 IPA - 7% - Grapefruit and tropical fruit hop finish, 942 IPA has got a good nose and an excellent balance between taste and bitterness, making for quite a refreshing IPA.

Braskadi - 10.5% - Elements of coconut, bittersweet toasted cocoa, intense dried fruits, and vanilla, Braskadi is like thick-bodied chocolate cake with medium bitterness and sweet finish.

Beer from Italy

Birra del Borgo Duchessic - 5.9% - Some litchi, white grapes, peach and pear, Duchessic begins crisp and lively reminiscent of white wine. It then moves to zesty lemon, with funky bready malts for a dry finish that's fun and easy to drink.

Croce di Malto Temporis - 6.8% - Hints of banana, black pepper, nectarine, and a rye-like spiciness, Temporis finishes very dry with strong hoppy notes. Lemony flavours adds a medium sweetness for a refreshing and crisp drinkability.

Beer from Germany

Roundhouse Kick - 9,2% - Dark chocolate, roast, a little coffee and also a fresh hoppy fruity note, Roundhouse Kick will hit you hard in the face with its full body and bitter and sweet finish.

7:45 Escalation -8.3% - Mango, grapefruit, some orange, lemon and caramel biscuit malt, 7:45 Escalation is very drinkable until the end, with a slightly sweet finish for a IIPA.

Beer from Ireland

Carlow O’Hara’s Irish Stout -4.3% - Caramel and coffee aroma with good toffee notes, Carlow O’Hara’s Irish Stout has a robust flavour but feels nice and smooth in the mouth. The generous addition of hops adds a satisfying tartness that blends nicely with the roast espresso finish.

Beer from Austria

Stiegl Goldbräu - 4,9% - Herbal, lemon, lime, and orange with a hint of red apple and pepper finish, Goldbräu is a well-rounded, full-bodied Salzburg lager. Mildly hopped, it's wonderfully balanced and thirst-quenching, with a pleasant aftertaste, perfect for a hot day.
