Everyone knows from our previous article that Montreal is close to some pretty insane and tropical-likeย destinations that are 514% BEAUTIFUL! ย Just a few hours away from Montreal there are gorgeous waterfalls, grottos, quarries, cliffs (obviously for cliff diving), and beaches!

For a two hour road trip from Montreal, bring your friends to explore the Chutes De La Chaudiere for a wild time! These waterfalls honestly look like they are from another country, so bring your cameras and fool your family by telling them you left Canada.
2. Warren Falls
Warren Falls is an epic natural spring in Vermont that is only a 2 hour road trip away from Montreal! It is located in Mad River Valley with great swimming holes and relaxation.
3. Albion Falls
Waterfalls sure are beautiful the most spectacular ones include Chedoke Falls and Hamilton's Albion Falls. A beautiful and relaxing spot to come and visit in the summer, Albion Falls will totally blow your mind!
Jean Larose Falls truly looks like it is from a fairytale! this magical destination is close to Mont-Sainte-Anne, and I bet you didn't even know it existed. If you love hiking and swimming in a place that seems to be out of a movie, then this is the place for you!
5. High Falls Park Campground
If you and your BFF love camping and stunning waterfalls , then High Falls Park is the place for you! It's literally an hour away from Montreal and trust me, it is worth the short drive.

Located in New York Watkins Glen State Park if home to this incredible hidden grotto! This place literally looks like it cam out of a fantasy book. The streams, waterfalls, and bridges are stunning and great for pictures with your BFF!
2. Morrisonโs Quarryvia @mscassbee
Morrisonโs Quarryis located near the towns of Chelseaand Wakefield, both charming towns located in the Quebec hillside. The quarry is an absolutely gorgeous spot, with crystal blue waters where you can swim, snorkel,bungee jump (Great Canadian Bungee), and scuba dive. It's a great location for a cute weekend getaway with your BFF!
3. Rattlesnake Pool
Rattlesnake Pool is located in Maine and can be found at Evans Notch. It is most known for it's sapphire waters that make you feel like you are on a tropical vacation! It is surrounded by the beautiful forest and I swear it is almost too stunning to handle
Ausable Chasm is located in New-York and it will actually take you less time to drive there than driving to Mont-Tremblant. It's a 2 mile long sandstone gorge with a river that runs through it that features some spectacular rock formations. You and your BFF can enjou adventure trails, night tours, rock climbing, ziplines, rappelling, rafting and of course lazy river tubing all for $30!
5. Mulgrave-et-Derry
For a truly magnificent weekend getaway, I recommend checking out the Grotto in Mulgrave-et-Derry, Quebec. It is absolutely a scene out of a fairy tale and trust me, it is in no doubt the perfect place to road trip to this summer. When you get back, you and your friends will shock your family by saying that the Grotto is located in Quebec!

1. Elora Quarry
The Elora Quarry is located in the adorable town of Elora, Ontario. You can fish, raft, swim, camp, and enjoy the beauty of Ontario! In addition, be sure to check out Elora for other activities like ziplining and cliff diving!
2. Dorset Marble Quarryโโโโโโโ
Feedley and Sons Quarry/Dorset Marble Quarry is located in Vermont and is merely 2 hours away from Montreal. It is apart of Dorset's emerald lake and it is most popular for it's fabulous cliff diving spots.
3. Forillon National Park
Located at the outer tip of the Gaspรฉ Peninsula is Forillon National Park. If you need a relaxing yet crazy vacation, then check out the cliffs at the Forillon National Park for some fabulous cliff diving. These cliffs are extremely high so beware and watch each others backs! So, get ready, get set, and JUMP!
4. Marmora Mineโโโโโโโ
If you want to jump into a perfect circle of water, you for sure need to check out the Marmora Mine Quarry. Don't let the name fool you, the Marmora Mine is an abandoned open pit iron mine that stretches more than 656 feet deep and covers 85 acres at the surface
5. Barrhaven Quarry
If you are down to jump in a vast lake from a 20-30 foot cliff then I suggest checking out the Barrhaven Quarry in Ottawa. It is a great location for the perfect jump! Cliff jumping at Barrhaven Quarry is magical. I strongly suggest coming here with a large group of friends and making a whole day dedicated to cliff diving. It's a great place for a picnic, tanning, and cliff diving!

Bruce Peninsula National Park holds what seems to be something from the Caribbean. The park has a peninsula that is absolutely breath taking! It is only an 8 hour drive from Montreal and trust me, itโs worth every minute. Their beach offers kayaking, swimming, biking, and much more to make your cheap trip magical.
3. Hermit Island
At Hermit Island, located in Maine, you can try their INSANE nature tours and check out their secret beaches that are absolutely stunning. You can see the turquoise water as you explore the island and create memories with your bff that will last forever!
4. La Malbaie
For nature, romance, and luxury all in one, I suggest heading out to La Malbaie in Quebec. This little town is located right near the Camping Des Chutes Fraiser and the peaceful Jardins de Quatre-Vents. They have boutiques, boulangeries, chalets, golf clubs, and beautiful views.

Want to be in paradise? Then Scarborough Bluffs is the place for you! It's only five hours away from Montreal! You can enjoy its gigantic beaches and high cliffs over a beautiful sunset in Ontario.
