2019 Will Be Meghan Markle's Best Year Yet, Here's Why
2018 was tough year for everyone, but especially for Meghan Markle. Just imagine the transition of going from "commoner" to full-blown Royal, quite literally overnight.
Meghan and Prince Harry tied the knot in late May, and instead of enjoying a relaxing moment of post-marital bliss, as most newlyweds do, the Duchess was immediately swept up into a whirlwind of Royal duties, obligations, and sky-high expectations.
TL;DR 2018 was a very busy and rocky year for Meghan Markle. Here are some predictions of what 2019 will bring for her and the Royal Family.
As a result, 2018 was not only an exciting time for Meghan Markle herself, but also for the press and tabloids who kept a close eye on her every move.
That said, the public's overall impression of Meghan was — and still for the most part, is extremely favorable.
However, Meghan has recently hit a rough patch and is in the midst of the most serious bout of negative attention and publicity she has received since her entry into the Royal Family.
Which, counter-intuitively, makes me believe that things are going to look up for the Duchess really soon, because the pendulum will always naturally swing back in the other direction at some point. In short, what goes down must eventually come up.
First off, she's due to have a baby very soon.
Although Kensington Palace is keeping the sex of the baby and the actual due date under wraps, we all know that the couple is expecting in spring. And a very pregnant Meg has been spotted cradling a very obvious baby bump.
The arrival of the baby will surely shift the focus away from Meghan herself and her "scandalous" outfits, and onto the new addition to the Royal family.
This will hopefully take a lot of pressure off of Meghan. It's time for a much-needed break.
I'm also predicting that the arrival of baby will trigger a shift in the dynamic of the Royal couples.
As we know, rumours about the nature of the relationships between Meghan and Kate Middleton have been going around, claiming that they just don't get along. While some others claim it's not that they don't get along, they just aren't particularly close.
Whether these rumors are true or not, I predict their dynamic will change for the better once the baby arrives.
Kate is already a mother of three, and as Megan's sister-in-law, she will naturally be able to provide emotional support and guidance during the first few months of the baby's life. All differences aside, that's what family is for.
That said, when it comes to Royal relationships, none is more important than the relationship with the Queen herself. And Meghan and the Queen have been known to butt heads on certain topics, especially regarding some outdated rules surrounding wardrobe and what is considered appropriate "Royal" attire.
I predict that the Queen will be more supportive and open-minded than ever of Meghan Markle's signature look and attitude.
2018 was an adjustment period. Meghan Markle, an American Hollywood celeb was invited into British Royal high life in Kensington Palace. This literally sounds like the plot of a hilarious early 2000s American comedy. In other words, there was bound to be some tension, friction, and, ultimately, clashing of culture to overcome before the real "happily ever after" happened.
The ultimate take-away: you can take the girl out of Hollywood, but you can't take Hollywood out of the girl. With the arrival of the baby, 2019 will be the year of acceptance for Meghan. She will finally settle into her new role in the Royal family without having to compromise her Hollywood appeal, and everything will be right again.
