It's officially nearing the end of summer since most Montrealers will be starting school again shortly, but to make up for it let's enjoy the festivities in Montreal that are well underway to help us make summer 2017 go out with a BANG this September!

Let's start to celebrate September by enjoying all the insane things you can do for free whether it be an event, festival, show or whatever floats your boat! Rain or shine let's make this month AMAZING.

For Free Things To Do On September 1 - 8 , click "Next"
On September 2nd from 2 p.m. to 11 p.m you can participate in Montreal's Electro Parade at no cost at all! In the heart of Montreal, both local and international DJs come together as you dance in the streets.
Don't forget about Les Siestes Musicales on September 3rd from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Parc Jarry for some free yoga and live music as a part of the Les escales improbables de Montréal.
Oh, and there's also the Gay Village's last street fair of summer which runs August 28 until September 3, 2017.
If you love dancing and seeing shows, then be sure to go to one of the Quartiers Danses shows in Montreal September 7th through September 17th, 2017.
From September 6th through September 9th, you can join the OUMF festival for some free concerts, exhibitions, streets performances and more!
Of course there is also the McCord Museum that is free on Wednesday evenings!
And until September 4th you can walk up the Montreal Clock Tower in the Old Port for superb views.
Make sure to get yourself to free outdoor yoga at the Jardins Gamelin on Wednesday, September 6 at 7:30 AM - 8:30 AM.

Did someone say free access to 24 of Quebec's provincial parks? UH YES! Celebrate Quebec National Parks Day by skipping out on admissions fees.
Villa Paradizo is Montreal's free outdoor EDM festival that runs this year as always on Cresent Street and from from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on both September 8th and September 9th.
If you love corn and fresh foods, then be sure to check out Quebec's Largest "Farmers Market" hosted at the Olympic stadium on September 10, 2017 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Art and a lake side view is a perfect pair and you can participate at Monttreal's Art by the Lake held on the waterside grounds of Stewart Hall from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on both September 9th and September 10th.
Oh, and who could forget about POP Montreal, the largest and most popular indie fest in the city from September 13th to September 17th.
Attend the Startup awards in Montreal to see who is on top and what is to come in the city on Tuesday the 12th of September from 5:30 PM – 8:30.

During the month, get yourself to Montreal's Gay Village and walk under the gorgeous Aires Libres "rainbow balls" installation
Then stroll over to Montreal's outdoor "beer garden" for some seriously good vibes.
Go to park Jean-Drapeau and sit under the sun next to the biosphere.
