40 Of Montreal's Best Food Trucks Are Taking Over The Olympic Park For The Final Time Today

As sad as it sounds, food trucks will no longer be on the streets of the city to givie citizens tasty eats after October 5th. Hold back your tears though, because even though you still haven't had a chance to try the dishes served by that one elusive truck that never seems to be where you are at lunchtime, you can finally try that (and every) truck during the very last First Friday food truck festival next week.
Taking place, as always, and for the last time this year, at the Olympic Stadium's Esplanade Financière Sun Life from 4pm to 11pm on October 3rd, the final First Friday will end the season off with a tasty band of flavours. Put on in collaboration with Alexander Keith’s (so expect the beer to be flowing) the event will host 40 different food trucks, and will also have outdoor marshmallow roasting stations, to fit with the colder climate of fall.
Entirely free to attend, there will also be plenty of tunes to enjoy along with all of the food. DJs will be spinning as soon as the doors are open and two sets of Montreal musicians, Le Trouble and Dead Obies, will be performing, which won't cost you an extra cent to see.
To help you plan which food trucks you'll be eating and when, here is the full list of the trucks that will be present at the final First Friday of the year and check out the Facebook event for any updates.
