A tasty and seriously unique drink featuring Bowmore 12 Single® Malt Scotch, cardamom, and tea, this deliciously flavourful drink is the perfect cocktail to make to impress friends, family, and yourself, with your own wondrous mixology skills.
- 1.5oz Bowmore 12 Single Malt Scotch
- 1.5oz chamomile and mint tea (chilled)
- 1oz Elderflower Liqueur
- 2 cardamom seeds
- Muddle cardamom seeds in a mixing glass
- Add in other ingredients and shake with ice
- Strain into a rocks glass filled with fresh ice
- Garnish with an edible pink flower
The Loretto Sour usesMaker's Mark® wheated bourbon, which is softer, lighter, and smoother than most other bourbons - plus has notes of vanilla, caramel, toffee and woody oak - bitter juices (like lemon and orange) and wine to create basically a symphony of flavours in your mouth. Plus the flamed orange zest garnish adds an extra little flare of awesome!
- 1oz Makers Mark Bourbon
- 0.5oz Maraschino Liqueur
- 0.75oz orange juice
- 0.5oz lemon juice
- 0.5oz red wine (merlot preferred)
- Shake all ingredients except red wine with ice
- Fine strain into a chilled cocktail glass
- Layer red wine on top
- Flamed orange zest garnish
If you know anything about cognac, then you know it's meant to be seriously enjoyed. And this simple cocktail is the perfect platform to highlight the even, smooth taste of its star ingredient: a dash of Courvoisier VS® Cognac, brought to life by the Ginger Snap's soft vanilla and ginger flavours.
- 1oz Courvoisier VS Cognac
- 0.5oz Galliano Vanilla
- Fever Tree Ginger Beer
- Build in a rocks glass filled with ice
- Mint sprig garnish
Knob Creek® Old Fashioned
Ah, the Old Fashioned. This staple in any whisky lover's drink repertoire, and it calls for a high proof bourbon - which is why Knob Creek is seriously recommended. This bourbon is aged in maximum-char barrels, pulling every bit of natural sweetness from the oak, which gives it those awesome vanilla and caramel notes. The Old Fashioned really lets all of Knob Creek's full flavours shine, and adds in hints of orange and sweetness from the simple syrup.
- 2oz Knob Creek Bourbon
- Half orange wheel
- 0.5oz simple syrup (1:1 ratio)
- 2 dashes Angostura Bitters
- Muddle orange, simple syrup and bitters in a rocks glass
- Fill with ice and pour in Knob Creek
- Stir for 30 seconds and top with fresh ice
- Orange zest garnish
Auchentoshan® and Ale
One of the best things about Auchentoshan Single Malt Scotch Whisky is that it's triple distilled, meaning that its fruit and citrus flavours are more easily released. - 1.5oz Auchentoshan 3 Wood Single Malt Scotch
- 1oz grapefruit juice
- 0.5oz lemon juice
- 0.75oz simple syrup (1:1 ratio)
- Ale of choice
- Shake all but ale with ice and strain into a highball glass filled with fresh ice
- Top with ale and quick stir to combine all ingredients
- Lemon zest garnish
