Vodka shots on vodka shots!
Probably The Best Russian Restaurants In Montreal.

You might remember this article about Russian food and how awesome it is. But where can you try all these delicious things in Montreal, you ask? There are actually a bunch of spots you could head to with your friends, family or your significant other for that special Russian experience.

Russian restaurants are a lot more than just a food thing. Expect dancing, singing and, you guessed it, a hell of a lot of vodka. What's not to love? Oh, and if you've never tried caviar, you're missing out on life and now is your chance to live a little.

1. Restaurant Ermitage

5024 Chemin de la Côte-des-Neiges

Borscht, blini, caviar and so much more to make your taste buds happy. Definitely a must visit. The restaurant is very cozy and inviting. The service is great. You'll love it.

2. La Caverne

5184 Chemin de la Côte-des-Neiges

The restaurant is called "The Dungeon" and that's exactly the vibe you'll get from it. You'll feel like you're in a Russian underground cottage. There is a stage where Russian singers perform on the weekend. It's a lot of fun. In addition, the food is absolutely delicious.

3. Restaurant Rasputin

617 Boulevard Décarie

Head to Rasputin to be well fed and highly entertained. There is a dance floor at the restaurant. Yes, a dance floor. Your night at Rasputin will look something like this: you arrive, you have dinner, you listen to live music, then you get vodka shots and then you dance a lot. You'll feel Russian by the end of the night.

4. Restaurant Bravo

6925 Av du Parc

Restaurant Bravo is a buffet style place with yummy food and fun entertainment. A lot of Russian weddings take place here. It's also a BYOB. Food, music, dancing... it's bound to be different from your regular dinner night type of thing.

5. Trattoria Cinecitta

5220 Boulevard Décarie

Trattoria Cinecitta is a Russian-Italian fusion restaurant. Say what? Sounds weird, but it kind of works. Delicious food and a great party every weekend. Check it out for a unique cultural experience.
