As some of you may know, the restaurant business is pretty cut-throat here in Montreal. Seeing as how we have the most restaurants per capita in Canada, you have to put up with a lot of competition if you want to stay in business. This year, a ton of new restaurants have opened their doors, 72 to be exact. Seventy F--kin' TWO, and counting! No wonder so many restaurants are closing, there's just not enough business to go around.
So unless your favourite restaurants receive golden reviews, or feature a celebrity chef, beware, because it may already be sadly closed.
