Finding a job in Montreal isn’t easy. But that doesn’t mean it’s impossible, you just have to look harder. But looking harder is hard and you don't have time for that, plus it’s Friday and you’re probably feeling kind of lazy, so your good friends at MTL Blog decided to patrol this week’s job postings and here are the best ones we could find.
1. Cash Supervisor
Being a supervisor isn't always cool but what if you're supervising the most awesome inanimate object of all, money. Cash Vault Services need you to work for them. And if you thought a corner office sounded cool, you're office will be called: The Money Room. Seriously, how good would that look on a business card?
2. Professional Fruit Eater
Admit it, no one eats fruit better than you. You put all other fruit eaters to shame. Your tasting skills are on a whole other level. You eat so much fruit you know what a Jabuticaba is. Okay forget about all that, if you have taste buds you're perfect for this job.
3. Ice Cream Server
I've always dreamed of getting paid to bring happiness to the world. Unfortunately I probably won't be able to do that, but I can come close by becoming an ice cream server. A sweet shop in the old port is looking for a part time ice cream server so start working out now because scooping frozen ice cream all day is a lot tougher on your arms than you'd think.
50$ Bachelorette Part Bartender
If you're a bartender but you're just not getting objectified often enough, consider this job. You can be a bartender for bachelorette parties. you get $50 an hour and we assume the tips are better than a regular bartending job. The only catch is you have to keep fit, so ease up on that bar food.
5. Tree climber
C'mon, seriously? A tree climber? You get paid to climb trees and cut down branches? I don't remember my school teacher telling me this was an option. Teachers always told me NOT to climb trees and study math instead because: "In the real world, you can't carry a calculator everywhere." And look at me now, I have a phone with a calculator in my pocket and I missed out on a tree climbing career, thanks a lot teacher.
6. Measles Test Subject
Well this one isn't for everyone (unless you're really determined) but if you're lucky enough to have not been vaccinated when you were a kid, you may have the measles. Good news, you can cash in on your medical plight by participating in this measles study. You can make 1000$ in no time and you'll almost be glad you got the measles.
