Montreal has a ton of, cultural centers, museums and heritage sites, and vising them all can get pretty pricey.
So if you desperately want to soak up some culture without spending a fortune, you have two choices.
You can wait until next year for Montreal's free museum day, or you can head out to any of these 8 museums that offer some kind of free entrance deal on certain days during the month of September.
Keep in mind, some of these places ask for a "voluntary donation" and they rely on these donations to stay open, so if you can, please show them your support.
