8 Hidden Quebec Spots You Have To Go To With Your Girlfriend This Summer
Real talk, Quebec is seriously beautiful. It's no secret that we love showing you all the most beautiful parts of the province (which, tbh, are super difficult to choose from, since it's all pretty much gorgeous) - but what if you're searching for something a little more hidden and adorable? A place perfect for a cute couple's getaway, maybe?
Well, no worries, friends. That's what I'm here for. Quebec's got literally tons of perfect spots for you and your S/O to get away from it all together, but there are a select few that stand out in particular.
1. Rocher Percé

Situated in Gaspesie, this spot is something you absolutely have to see at least once in your life. The Rocher-Percee, or Pierced Rock, is one of the world's largest natural arches; trust, it's seriously awe-inspiring.
Not only is this one incredibly beautiful spot to behold, but the town of Perce also happens to be situated on the cliffs, making for one seriously breathtaking spot. So, grab your Quebae, a kayak or two, and prepare to be highkey amazed.

Whale watching enthusiasts, where you at? Quebec is one of the most prime places to watch some whales splash around in the whole world (in my humble opinion). Although you can watch some whales at Tadoussac - always a solid, breathtaking, and popular choice - you can also set up those binoculars at Les Bergeronnes.
Roughly a 20 minute drive away from Tadoussac, and about a six hour drive away from Montreal, Les Bergeronnes offers beautiful views, a super rich history (so it's perfect for any fellow history buffs out there, too), and the Cap de Bon-Desir observation park, which is perfect for observing all the marine life.
3. Parc National des Grands-Jardins

This Quebec nature park is seriously impressive. Situated in the Charlevoix region, it's perfect for both the adventure lovers among us, as well as those of us who just legit want to sit back and admire something incredibly vast and incredibly beautiful. Why is that? Well, I'm glad you asked.
This huge park is full of gorgeous forests, mountains, wildlife, and lakes. And although it's absolutely something to take in, no worries if you're not a taking-in type of person. The park also offers tons of activities, such as fishing, kayaking, hiking, canoeing, and much more. Best part? It's only a four hour drive out of the city.
4. La Malbaie

Down to go somewhere a little more luxe? Then Quebec's La Malbaie is totally for you and that special someone in your life. Apparently, this was one of the first spots in Quebec to be treated as a sort of resort town; and, with boutiques, boulangeries, chalets, golf clubs, and amazingly beautiful views, it's no question as to why this secret Quebec spot has retained that reputation.
About a four hour drive from Montreal, La Malbaie isn't just a beautiful spot. It's also home to the Societe d'Histoire de Charlevoix, the Camping Des Chutes Fraiser campsite, and the super pretty, peaceful Jardins de Quatre-Vents, meaning that no matter what you're looking for here, you're 100% going to find an amazing time.
5. Trou De La Fée

You guys already know about my love for grottoes and peninsulas, so it's only natural that I would talk about this legit breathtaking cave/park, located in the Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean region of Quebec.
The Parc de la caverne du Trou de la Fée is beautiful in and of itself - it's basically a huge nature park, full of footbridges, cliffs, hiking trails, Chinese gardens, and many other astounding things to take in.
6. Marais du Nord

Where my nature lovers at? Everywhere? Perfect! The Marais du Nord, situated close to Quebec City and about a three hour drive outside of Montreal, are beautiful and pristine marshes that offer up tons of activities for those of us who seriously adore nature.
An example of what you can do at this magical spot? Birdwatching, hiking, observing, canoeing, kayaking, and much, much more. Marshes for the win? You know it.
7. Île Aux Lièvres

One of a handful of protected islands in the St. Lawrence river that you can now explore thanks to the Societe Duvetnor, Ile Aux Lievres is not only a hidden and beautiful Quebec island, but it's also one of the most fun places you can pick to visit in the province.
Featuring cottages, campsites, and many more awesome accommodations, this island also offers a bunch of awesome places to dine at, as well as tons of activities - like sea bird watchihng, lectures, and guided walks, many of which are totally free to participate in.
8. Matapedia Valley

Situated near Quebec's Chic-Choc Mountains, the Matapedia Valley comprises of a whole bunch of municipalities, the Matapedia river, mountains, and a whole bunch of beautiful things to see and fun things to do.
