This new Netflix original is set in a remote village in Northern Quebec where most of the population has turned into ravenous zombies. Survivors embark on a journey to escape their hopeless town for the chance of rescue in the city. Filmed in 3 Northern-Quebec locations, this is a horror that'll give you the creeps if you've been to any of these towns before.
2. 21 Thunder
Rotten Tomatoes Rating: No Score Yet
Defintely not the most antcipated Netflix series of last year, but the teen drama follows the star players of a Montreal under-21 soccer team and their struggle to become pro-players. Filmed on location in Montreal, this mini-series would be a fun binge-watch during the climate of the World Cup.
3. 19-2

Released in 2014 and 4 seasons in, the series revolves around the day-to-day life of the Montreal Police Department and the two officers that patrol one of the busy downtown districts. Although underrated, it may be worth it to see what fictional crimes these TV cops deal with in Montreal.
4. Blue Mountain State

You've probably heard of this one somewhere before, but the almost decade-old series was filmed at John Abbott College in Montreal. Available to watch on Netflix, the show follows three freshmen learning to navigate college life and football.
5. Frontier

Everyone knows Jason Momoa from Game of Thrones, but his role as a half-Irish, half-Indigenous outlaw trying to breach the Hudson's Bay Company has definitely brought a fanbase to this Canadian series.
6. Mother!

Recently made available on Netlfix, this psychological thriller featuring Jennifer Lawrence was actually entirely filmed in Montreal. More the reason to stay in for a night of Netflix and Chill.
7. X-Men: Days Of Future Past

Although arguably one of the most famous movie sagas in the industry, not many know that this film was acually shot in Montreal. Time to re-watch on Netflix and try to spot some downtown locations.
8. Catch Me If You Can

This 2002 Blockbuster based on true events stars a young Leonardo Dicaprio and Tom Hanks. Although many filming locations were used, both Quebec City and Montreal were among them.
