These programs largely fall into two cateogies: scholarships, which are mostly awarded based on academic merit, and grants, which are mostly awarded based on an assessment of a student's need. Note that this list focuses on resources for undergraduate and graduate students, and does not include opportunities for postdoctoral applicants.
