A Huge Vinyl Fair Is Happening This Weekend In Downtown Montreal

Are you a vinyl lover, or even a record collector? Well, this weekend, Montreal's Audio Fest will be hosting their third annual Vinyl Fair and it's bound to be the best place to pick up some rare vinyl in the city.

If you appreciate the oft-overlooked turntable and vinyl approach to music listening, this is the even for you, and we've got all the details on the weekend-only event below.

Montreal's Audio Fest is celebrating their 50th year, alongside Woodstock's 50th anniversary, so the theme is hippy-dippy and sure to be amazing.

The vinyl fair is in its third year at the Audio Fest and their site assures that "sellers are waiting for you with their crates filled" with musical treasures!

In addition to the loads of vinyl and collectable records, there are countless other events happening at the Bonaventure Hotel in downtown Montreal this weekend for Audio Fest.

There will also be a Photo Booth where you can take fun and funky photos with hilarious props and costumes to commemorate the event.

For the serious audiophiles, consider one of the countless seminars on all this audio. From talks on Crytal Cable and Tubes to "Comment choisir, ajuster et entretenir une table tournante" (How to choose, adjust and fix a turntable) there's sure to be a seminar that tickles your fancy. There will also be a tribute to The Beatles, called I Love The Fab Four. This year marks the 50th anniversary of the Beatles' last live performance on the Abbey Road studio roof. 

At the Fab Four tribute exhibit, take in guitars, drums, pictures, books and more, all about the band that birthed Beatlemania.

In a similar vein, Lennon fans can sit in on acoustic performances as part of the "Bed In" in Suite 1204 of the hotel.

Montreal band Rose Mountain will also be playing in the Studio Lounge, at 1 PM and 3 PM both Saturday and Sunday, so be sure to take in some local talent!

Audio Fest hours are as follows:

Friday, March 22nd, 2019  - 11 AM to 8 PM

Saturday, March 23rd, 2019  - 10 AM to 6 PM

Sunday, March 24th, 2019  - 10 AM to 5 PM
