A Look Inside Downtown Montreal's All-Inclusive Apartment Building

Everything you could ever need in one spot.
A Look Inside Downtown Montreal's All-Inclusive Apartment Building

Truth time, friends. My ultimate goal in life is to live somewhere happily on my own, close to all the action in Montreal, with nothing at all to worry about except how much of an awesome time I'm going to have.

Sometimes, though, it's a little difficult to find stress-free living in Montreal. Either you find an awesome place, but then you have to think of adding in appliances, heating, and all that wonderful stuff - or you just don't find anything you like at all, and are forced to settle.

Which is exactly where Luna Apartments comes into the picture to save the day (/your whole life).

Luna Apartments are pretty much designed so you don't have to worry about a thing. They're situated close to Concordia and literally in front of McGill University, on 1100 Dr Penfield Ave, and offer up awesome amenities, and awesome services. Not to mention, they're super urban and straight-up gorgeous, thanks to a top to bottom designer renovation.

The building itself is located super centrally, in Montreal's Golden Square Mile, close to restaurants, coffee shops, banks, buildings, stores, and metro stations. Plus, you're minutes away from Montreal's Old Port, Chinatown, and Mount Royal.

And even though it's downtown, the neighbourhood has lots of huge trees, parks, gorgeous Victorian buildings, and plenty of greenspace.

Each apartment comes with access to the buildings' amenities, which include a fully equipped gym, laundry room/game room, lounge, conference room, study room and a 24 hour doorman (because safety is key!).

Luna's also got a huge private, oasis-like garden outside, which is pretty much the perfect spot to chill after a busy day in the city. It's basically an urban retreat: they've got a fountain, manicured lawns, a terrasse, lounge chairs, table, BBQ and an herb garden.

There also happens to be a Subway Restaurant and a Couche-Tard right in the building... so going out to eat won't even require leaving the comfort of your own home. Sounds like paradise to me, TBH!

On top of that, you've got everything included in the price of your monthly rent. And by everything, I mean everything: heating, lights, air conditioning, hot water, a fridge, microwave, dishwasher, stove, and (of course!) beautiful views of Montreal.

The Luna Apartments also happen to come in a variety of different options. You have semi-furnished 3 1/2 and 4 1/2 standard and contemporary models, plus furnished 1 and 2 bedroom suites.

Honestly though, what really sold me on the sheer awesome factor of these apartments is how much current residents hype them up.

Seriously, they say the only way to know if an apartment building is actually as fantastic as they appear to be is to ask the people who already live there.

People generally have nothing but good stories, with just one of many current residents saying, "In simple words, it's one of the most student-friendly apartments located in the vicinity of McGill University. It's one of the few places that I can call a home away from home."

Oh, and not to mention that they also have Skype and FaceTime viewings as well. Yeah, I think that pretty much speaks for itself. They are also doing a HUGE renovation where all the windows and balconies are going to be updated, which is going to be completed this October. Hello more sunshine and morning coffees on your private new balcony!

On top of the above, Luna is contributing to the sustainability by having a green roof. Green roofs help reduce the urban heat island effect and produce oxygen. Moreover, Luna has joined the urban beekeeping movement by having 2 hives on its rooftop!
