A Magical Christmas-Themed Bar Is Coming To Montreal This Week

Montreal is known for its spectacles and unique attractions. The city is the unofficial festival-capital of North America.

So, naturally, when you take holiday-season hype and aesthetics and combine them with the city's culture of celebration, they yield some pretty incredible results.

TL;DR Christmas-themed, pop-up bar company Miracle is bringing its product to Montreal's Old Port this winter. The Coldroom bar will be transformed for the occassion. Stay tuned to Coldroom's Facebook page for updates (link at the very bottom of the article).

This year, alone, Montreal is hosting several different christmas markets, including the Christmassy transformation of the Atwater Market, a holiday parade, and countless other localizaed events.

But this latest announcement might just top that list:

A Christmas-themed bar is coming to the city this winter.

Miracle, a company that puts together pop-up Christmas bars across the world, has announced that for an undisclosed period of time this winter, it will be taking place at 139 St-Paul Ouest.

"With kitschy holiday décor, professionally-developed cocktails, and the nostalgic energy of the best office party you’ve ever been to, Miracle is sure to get even the grouchiest grinch in the holiday spirit," the company website reads.

Miracle goes all out to deliver the ultimate Christmas experience. No detail is overlooked. While each of its locations is unique and conforms to the existing bar, every pop-up is guaranteed to offer specialty holiday cocktails and over-the-top Christmas cheer.

While the exact dates and times of the Montreal location are so far unconfirmed, based on the schedule for other Miracle locations, it will likely appear sometime around the end of November.

Since its debut in 2014, Miracle has become an international sensation. This year, its pop-ups are coming to dozens of cities around the globe. But the enthusiasm that Montrealers bring to the city's special events ensures that the Old Port pop-up will be the best in the world.
