A Montreal Artist's Unique Take On The City's Metros And Buses

Things are just more fun in cartoon form.

The most mundane things, like riding the bus or metro, are made much more fun when they're in cartoon form. We've already seen some of Montreal as a cartoon, but what about an animated version of the STM?

Amateur cartoonist Alexander Ly has combined his affinity for cartoons with public transit to create cartoon versions of Montreal's bus and metro networks.

A little rough (some pics are even on lined paper) but altogether enjoyable, Ly's pictures remind us of a time when taking the bus or metro was a special and exciting event. Sure, we were 4 and still ate dirt, but that didn't make it any less fun.
