A Montreal Facebook Page That Warns You Of Hidden Speed Traps In The City

Have you ever been cruising down a road in Montreal, rocking out to Jenny from the Block, speeding up to 80km in a 50km zone because you just hit the chorus and all fvcks have been thrown to the wind, and BAM a cop car comes outta nowhere and gives you a $600 ticket? If you have (maybe minus the JLO part) then you fell into a Montreal speed trap, and don't let it happen again.

Eric Dahan, a Montrealer who was hit with one too many speeding tickets, decided enough was enough, and created the Montreal Speed Trap facebook page, a community page designed to inform Montrealers where speed traps are located in the city.

Montreal Speed Trap is more about making driving in Montreal less stressful, and more affordable, and not so much about circumventing the law. With awful traffic and construction already plaguing the city, driving stress should be kept a low as possible, so Dahan wants Montrealers to come together and help each other out.

To get in the know about Montreal Speed Traps, head over the facebook page here, and feel free to let everyone know where a speed trap is hiding. You may just save someone from a triple digit ticket.
