But to wash it all down, you might also want to check out the giant beer festival resturning to Laval this year for its 5th edition.
"The Laval Beer Festival brings together 85 exhibitors, including 40 Quebec microbreweries from all regions of Quebec. There are also kiosks represented by Quebec cider houses, restaurants and local agri-food products," according to its website.
"Our main mission is to set up a large family celebration highlighting the Quebec brewing industry, as well as local products. This event will be an unmissable event for epicureans wishing to taste and discover new products,"the event Facebook page elaborates.
Beer stasting sizes are wither 4oz or 8oz, and prices range from $ 2 to $ 10,explains Narcity Québec. In addition, organizers are introducing a mysterious new beer just for the occasion — "la Festivaloise." A single day pass to the event, meanwhile, costs $10 for adults 18 years old or older.
While tasting some of the best locally brewed beers the province has to offer, you can also enjoy the live musical performances and comedy shows that will take to the stage. For a complete lineup, see the program page here! In years past, festival games have also included a mechanical bull!
