A US-Bound North Korean Missile Could Fly Over Montreal

Boston-bound missile could be delivered via Northeastern airspace
A US-Bound North Korean Missile Could Fly Over Montreal

Earlier this year, North Korea claimed that ithad missiles capable of reaching the US east coast.

Should the totalitarian nation declare nuclear war on the US, it's likely that it will send its missiles via Canadian airspace.

In effect, this means that a Boston-bound missile could fly over Montreal.

If the present war of juvenile insults between the two countries escalates into something more concrete, the consequences would be devastating.

A nuclear bomb of the size of the September 3 test would generate a fireball covering an area of 1.6 square kilometres. In addition, all life within six square kilometres would be destroyed.

In addition, winds would carry radioactive materials about 270 kilometres in the northeast direction.

There's also the fear that, should the rogue nation have a nuclear weapon small enough to fit its missiles, the projectile may not reach its destination and crash on Canadian soil.
