If you were lucky enough to have been near the corner of Prince-Arthur and Saint-Laurent a few weeks ago then you know about the Nutella truck and if you haven't, then you've no doubt heard the glorious tales of it's free breakfast giveaways. Sadly the truck was only there for a few hours but lucky for you it will soon making its way back to Montreal for another round.
The truck will be at the International Balloon Festival in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu in the Montreal Area from August 8th until 12th and if you happen to be at the Festival d'Ete De Quebec, the truck will be there from July 10th to the 12th.
During the tour, the truck will be serving FREE Belgian waffles and fruit skewers topped with Nutella. There will also be activities, a personalized Nutella jar makers, a claw machine and tons of Nutella themed prizes.
The tour is meant to celebrate Nutella's 40 years in Canada by introducing some new breakfast recipe ideas which include:
- French toast croissant with Nutella, yogurt and raspberries.
- breakfast panini with ricotta cheese, pear and Nutella
- Crepe filled with Nutella, banana, coconut and toasted macadamia nuts
- German pancake with apricot and Nutella and a breakfast apple cake topped with Nutella
