All The Crazy Weather Montreal Can Expect In February

For the first time in months, the sun was up before I got to work, which can only mean one thing: the hard part of winter is over. 

January is almost gone, so now it's time to see what February has in store for us. 

The good news is that we will no longer be plunged in perpetual darkness. The bad news is that we have a lot of cold temperatures to survive this month.

How bad is it?

Consider this, 3 weeks ago Montreal beat the recordfor the longest cold streak in 146 years. That was 6 straight says where the temperature was colder than 17°C.

And over the next month, we can expect at least 2 more similar cold streaks.

There is also a lot of snow expected, but luckily there doesn't seem to be any major snowstorms on the way.
