The sun is out, temperatures are hitting 20 degrees, and most of us can already admit to stripping off in our backyards for a mid-afternoon tan. If it wasn't already obvious that summer is practically here, the fact that Montreal's La Ronde is opening this weekend tells us it is!
La Ronde is opening this weekend (May 19-21) and they're offering their best offer for Season Passes yet. For $49.99, you'll be able to visit the park an unlimited amount of times all season long. You'll have to buy two or more of these bad boys during La Ronde's Opening Sale until May 21st to get this deal, but if you do, they'll even throw in an additional free ticket for a friend and give you exclusive ride access each month. Goodbye long wait lines, hello endless fun!
Sure,we all dream of doing nothing but lounging in the sun all summer long, and it may sound like fun, but, let's be honest: It gets a bit dull without some entertainment after the second week. And La Ronde is taking its entertainment to the next level.
The well-loved amusement park will be holding unique events all season long including Family Days, L’International des Feux Loto-Québec, Bavarian Weekends, the return of La Nuit Blanche (!!) and the ever-popular Fright Fest.
Nothing builds up an appetite quite like thrill-seeking rides, and after a full day of racing down Beateau Pirate's trio of high-speed loops, taking a flying leap from Catapulte's 150-foot drop and braving the Goliath's mile of ultra slim, ultra fast track, the first thing you'll be looking to grab is a snack. If you head to the park from September 8th through 16th, La Ronde will be hosting Bavarian Weekends that will take guests on a delicious journey to taste themed dishes by German traditions.
A week later is the return of La Nuit Blanche. The much beloved event is coming back after a 10-year hiatus, and La Ronde is keeping doors open all night to celebrate the beginning of fall. It’s an all-night celebration for guests 18+, featuring famous DJs and live performances. Most rides will be open to guests with the exception of the children's rides at Pays de Ribambelle. Of course, there will be discounts for season passholders!
Celebrating Halloween more your thing? The park will be celebrating the spooky holiday for nine days beginning October 6, including all weekends and Thanksgiving Day. The zombies, demons and vampires of Fright Fest are all preparing for the scariest Halloween event in the region.
Oh, and did we mention they're unveiling a brand new ride? The Tourbillon will send you spinning, twisting and rolling - this is not a ride you're going to want to miss!
