Not only is Montreal home to hundreds of restaurants, but some are so AMAZING that you end up waiting... in line... for a long time... BUT! The best ones, in particular the ones one this list, are 514% worth the wait! Yes, I know it's winter... But lets be real, when it comes to something we love, like food, we would do just about anything! Even wait in line outside in -15 degrees for an hour.
So, before you check out all your cash this week, be sure to check out these restaurants in Montreal if you happen to have some, or a lot, of extra time on your hands! There is 514% something on this list for everyone so start planning and clearing your schedule for some well deserved MTL food!
This Old Montreal restaurant focuses on one thing: serving up seriously delicious, totally organic and good-for-you food. Their menu features extensive vegan options, too, and their vegan poutine is a serious thing of beauty.
Technically 57 Cals is in Laval; but this spot is definitely worth the trip if you're not from the area. Their vegan poutine is amazing, and their spicy version is totally something you need to try at least once in your life.
Probably the quintessential spot in Montreal for vegan poutine, Copper Branch is literally bae. Their mushroom poutine sauce pretty much makes the dish; and if you want to pair it with a vegan burger, they've got you covered, too.

One of my personal favourite locations for a Valentine's date is Toyo in Down Town Montreal. They specialise in Teppanyaki cuisine where they put on a show while making your food. For a full meal including absolutely everything, it only costs between 20-40$.
