These days, the dream of buying a house has been largely replaced by the humble dream of owning a condo. 

That's because most of us do not believe we will ever be able to afford an actually house without moving away from the big city.

So how much money do you need to make to cover your house payments and still live comfortably? Well that depends on which Canadian city you live in. 

Luckily, Point2homes did a study to figure out exactly how much an average home will cost you in Canada's 10 biggest cities and how much money you need to make in order to afford one. 

The study also looked at 10 well paid professional jobs to show how much money make, and how money they need to buy a house in every province.
