Another 2 Weeks Of Extreme Cold Over Montreal

Quebec is not going to be a fun place to live.

If you are one of the lucky ones, you've got your toes in the sand with a margarita in hand, and the cold is the furthest thing from your mind right now, but for the rest of us waking up this morning, temperatures are extra frosty and it looks like the frigid arctic air is sticking around for another couple of weeks.

The mercury is currently showing -23 C, and with 30km wind gusts, it feels like -33 C, temperatures that have left most of Quebec with extreme cold and blizzard warnings.

It's actually as much as 10 degrees colder than the average normal for this time of year (as if February didn't suck enough as it is), it's so cold in fact that Cuba is only 10C right now.

I guess we can take some comfort in the fact that at least we didn't get the 50cm of snow that fell in Gaspé, but still, this winter needs to die. So wrap up today, and for another two weeks apparently, because these temperatures can and will freeze your skin in under 30 seconds if you're not careful.
