Astronaut Tweets Photo Of Montreal From International Space Station

This week we spotted a post about Astronaut Tim Kopra tweeting a picture of Vancouver taken from the International space station.

That made us extremely jealous, since we don't enjoy getting left out of things in Montreal.

So it wasn't surprising to find a Tweet from @UbiNox84 asking if we could also get a "good night" picture of our own.

@astro_tim Special request, can i have a good night Montreal from space soon? Thanks! #CitiesFromSpace @Space_Station

Tim Korpa didn't respond, but @rainmaker1973 pointed out that Astronaut Scott Kelly had already send a few "good morning" pictures last year.

Here is Montreal in all it's glory:

#GoodMorning#Montreal! Greetings from @SpaceStation. #YearInSpace. pic.twitter.com/A50vXYEASM

Tim Kopra did however, post a picture of Toronto:

Greetings #Toronto from @Space_Station! @TorontoComms @Canada @MapleLeafs #CitiesFromSpace pic.twitter.com/O5aHLgGWWT

And finally, here's the space photo he took of Vancouver:

Thanks for thinking of us, Commander Kelly.
