Bacon + Sriracha + Onion Rings = The Sriracha Bacon Wrapped Onion Ring

Food that looks too good.
Bacon + Sriracha + Onion Rings = The Sriracha Bacon Wrapped Onion Ring

Photo cred - Kirbie's Cravings

Here's something we wouldn't be surprised to see straight out of the kitchen at Brutus. A classic bar snack upgraded with the unholy fusion of Sriracha and bacon, these are onion rings made all kinds of spicy-savory, and they're not even fried, so you won't feel bad about ingesting a bunch of hot sauce and pork. Get your body ready for the Sriracha Bacon Wrapped Onion Rings.

Dipped in a honey-Sriracha glaze, these so-much-funion rings are then wrapped in a not-so-healthy amount of bacon (rather than the classic batter) and roasted in the oven 'til nice and crispy. Kirbie's Cravings are the folks behind this bodacious bar-food dish, which you can actually make at home pretty easily.

Cut up your onions into well-sized ring, then baste in a glaze that is a combo of honesy, soya sauce, and sriracha. Wrap two pieces of bacon on each ring (the glaze will help the meat to stick) and secure the wrap-around with a toothpick. Bake in the oven at 400 farenheit for about 30 minutes (or 'til nice and crisp) then top with a final douse of the spicy-sweet glaze.

Head over to the original post for a full rundown on the recipe. Anyone needing some immediate foodporn-action, get salivating off of the photos below.
