Unless it's a breakfast poutine, which just takes the world's greatest dish and elevates it to a whole. Nother. Level. Thankfully for us, there are tons of spots that make awesome breakfast poutines - and here are just a few that stand out.

If you've never been to this delicious Montreal restaurant, part of the Europea family, then you need to get yourself there ASAP. Not only does this spot serve up delicious food during the week, but on weekends, their breakfast BH Poutine (with pulled pork, bacon, and more) is straight up mind-blowing.

Thankfully, there are tons of L'Oeufrier locations throughout the island, meaning whenever you need your breakfast poutine fix, this spot has got your back. Bonus points for their super varied breakfast poutine options, all of which are more tasty than the last.

Situated in Montreal's Gay Village, this spot is seriously legit. They're open 24/7, and they also happen to offer 24/7 breakfast... and, by extension, breakfast poutines. All the yums? You know it.

5. Poutine Centrale

Picture a seriously tasty poutine, with all your favourites: fresh cheese curds, crisp fries, delicious sauce. Now picture it with a whole ton of bacon and a fried egg on top. Sounds delicious? That's because it is, friends; you can find this, and more, at Montreal's Poutine Centrale.

6. Gonzo Cafe

This Plateau cafe is seriously mindblowing. Not only do they have awesome coffee, but their food selections happen to be out of this world amazing. Couple that with an amazing vibe and a super welcoming atmosphere, and you've got your new favourite spot.

7. Paulo Et Suzanne

This 24/7 Ahuntsic diner serves up pretty much the tastiest poutines you could possibly eat... and their breakfasts just happen to be out of this world, too. When you combine those two delicious meals together, though, do you know what you get? Pure happiness, in the form of Paulo Et Suzanne's breakfast poutines.

8. Burger Bar

Okay, I'm not entirely sure that this is a "breakfast" poutine per say, since technically Burger Bar opens at 11 AM. But it's got an egg on it, and it's called the Hangover Poutine, so that pretty much screams breakfast to me, TBH.
