Cabane À Sucre Au Pied de Cochon
Where: 11382 Rang de la Fresnière, Mirabel.
When: This place, run by the same owners as the Au Pied de Cochon restaurant, is well-known for its appearance on Anthony Bourdain's "Parts Unknown." The Mirabel shack offers up a divine selection of creative fares, described by the website as " real live laboratory [that] reclaims the traditional sugar shack."
Un Chef à L'Érable
Where: Pavillon Jacques-Cartier, Montreal Old Port
What: For the fifth year, Un Chef à L'érable is proposing a sugar shack experience in the heart of downtown. Guests can enjoy a refined menu alongside traditional tire sur la neige. The sugar shack opens this Friday, March 15.
