As is true of many cities, driving around Montreal isn’t particularly fun. The bikers, pedestrians, and cars make the streets pretty congested on a regular basis. However, if you’re looking to get the feeling of driving on an open road, there’s no better place to go than a go-karting track. Thankfully, the city has plenty of super-fun places where you can burn rubber. Here's Montreal’s best go-karting.

You’ll have plenty of room to drive here, because they’ve got the largest indoor go-karting track in Canada. The size makes it easy to pass other drivers, ensuring that you’ll be able to go as fast as you want (which, if you’re anything like us, is really fast). Not only that, but the karts allow you to drive quickly, since they have a whopping 9 horsepower.

We had a blast driving at this place, but don’t take our word for it—just ask the pros. The 2001 World Karting Championship was hosted here, thanks to their 1234 km long and 8 meter wide track. They also have a racing school, in case you want to develop your skills before facing off against your buddies.

This is a great place to drive, for sure, since their indoor track has a concrete surface, which makes you feel like you’re going faster than you actually are. However, if all of the speed burns you out, you can take a break and watch the other drivers go at it from the comfy viewing areas. Even better, you can enjoy a tasty soft drink or snack while you watch.

If outdoor racing sounds like your idea of a good time, you’ll want to come here. You’re sure to have a blast zipping around their gorgeous open-air track at speeds of up to 60 km/h. If you get bored of driving, don’t worry, because they also have an awesome minigolf course.
