10 Seriously Important Montreal Restaurants You Need To Try In 2017

The best foodie adventure of your life.

Friends, it's no secret that Montreal has an awesome food scene. In fact, there's so many spots that it might be easy to get a little lost in all the greatness.

But there are a select handful of spots you absolutely need to get to, ASAP, especially if you've been meaning to get yourselves there forever!

Bird Bar

Honestly, guys, Bird Bar is bae. Featuring fried chicken, champagne, and delicious, creative dishes (like their chicken waffles!), a trip to Bird Bar is absolutely something you need to experience at least once in your life.

Cafe Gentile

This Westmount newcomer is the second location to Ahuntsic's Cafe Gentile, known for its delicious AF coffee. Westmount's Gentile has that exact same delicious coffee, plus an awesome decor (SO to the plastic lined sofas, just like nonna's house) and delicious food.

If you love Mexican food, you're going to fall hard for Old Montreal's Emiliano's. Not only is this spot decorated beautifully, and in one of the best locations in the city, but the food is out of this world. Shoutout to their shrimp ceviche... so, so good.

This downtown Montreal Portuguese restaurant is king of delicious Portuguese chicken poutine and (seriously delicious!) Portuguese chicken wings.

A brunch restaurant in Montreal's St. Henri, this spot has gotten all kinds of popular over the past year. And honestly, there's a very good reason for it: the food. Is. Amazing. Also, shoutout to their Caesars, which feature a little bagel and lox on top.

A legit Japanese restaurant situated in Montreal's Plateau, Noren's food is out of this world amazing. Their takoyaki (fried squid balls) are seriously delicious; and their ever-changing main dish menu is always, always incredibly delicious.

This organic restaurant places emphasis on locally grown, wholesome ingredients, plus delicious vegan dishes like poutine and brunch!

Honestly, if you're down for some delicious French cuisine, then look no further than this super popular St. Henri restaurant.
