Life can be stressful sometimes, especially if you’re stuck working a crappy summer job, but there’s no better way to get rid of your frustrations than duking it out with your friends in laser tag. Whether you’re stealthily sneaking around, or just staying put and waiting for your opponents to come to you, you’re sure to have a great time when you’ve got a laser-firing “weapon” in your hand. Here are some of our favourite laser tag places in Montreal.
1. Lazer Quest
If you’re willing to get a workout while you blast your friends with lasers, this is the place for you. Laser Quest’s futuristic five-story maze is sure to get your heart racing and challenge your endurance. The fog effects and pulse-pounding music help to preserve the intense atmosphere.
Enjoy sneaking your way through the underground mazes and tunnels at this place. After a short briefing on your mission, you’ll be plunged into the exciting environment which Darkzone offers. You’ll get placed on one of three teams, and get prepared to fight serious battles against whoever’s not on your side.
With the 40 person capacity in Boulzeye’s spacious two floor arena, you won’t run out of enemies to fight. The sirens, lights, and flashes of colour aren’t for the faint of heart, but they’re a great way for the strong-willed to have a fun time. The three full bars are perfect if you need some liquid courage before you engage in combat.
4. Mission Odyssey Montreal
Come to Mission Odyssey for a variety of unique laser tag games that’ll keep you entertained for hours. They offer scenarios like Sniper, VIP Escort, and Ambush, all of which are sure to be laser tag experiences you won’t forget. If you’re feeling creative, try their Custom Package and enjoy whatever exciting missions you and your friends can dream up.
5. Do It Yourself
If you don’t feel like paying each time for all of the laser tag you want to play, buy your own system and engage in battle wherever and whenever you want. We recommend Parc La Fontaine for the spacious environment and trees that make for great hiding spots. Just watch out for the “civilians” around you!
