Friends, when I say "health food", what comes to mind? Is it kale? I bet it’s probably kale.
But, as I’m sure I don’t have to tell you, the world of healthy food in Montreal is so much more than just kale and, like, flax seeds. I think that in Montreal, it’s pretty safe to say we’re huge health nuts who do enjoy eating right (minus the occasional poutine, obvs). And with a bunch of great healthy food restaurants constantly innovating the clean eating scene, it's really easy to see why we love our health food.
And now, a new clean eating spot has emerged to become your new fave. Venice (440 St Francois Xavier) is a health food/clean eating restaurant located in Old Montreal, and although it has yet to open - the opening date is set for this upcoming Tuesday, March 8, 2016 - it's already boasting some seriously awesome menu items.
A sample of what healthy dishes Venice will serve up to Montreal once it opens? According to its Instagram, you can expect fish tacos, poke, healthy juices, and more. Keep your eyes peeled for Venice's official opening, and until then, don't forget to check out their Facebook page for more information.
